THE BEGINNINGS
In the early 1980s, with solid experience of over ten years in textile manufacturing, we identified a key opportunity in the market: the shortage of materials for garment production. Thanks to our knowledge, strategic vision, and sector analysis, we decided to expand our operations and venture into the manufacturing field.
BIRTH OF CONOTEX
In 1989, after years of experience, commitment, and sustained growth, we took a decisive step by specializing in the production of Polyamide and Polyester threads, thus founding Conotex. This new business unit was born with a clear mission: to offer the market high-performance products of the highest quality.
GROWTH AND CONSOLIDATION
During the 1990s, Conotex quickly positioned itself as one of the leading brands in the Argentine market. Our offering of high-quality products began supplying various industrial sectors such as footwear, leather goods, automotive, mattress manufacturing, apparel, and rubber, among others.
Constant growth drove us to invest heavily in state-of-the-art technology, raising our production standards and ensuring continuous quality improvement. Thanks to this evolution, Conotex became synonymous with excellence, durability, and competitiveness in the national market.
PRODUCT EXPANSION
In 2005, responding to changes in the Argentine textile market, we added a new line of waxed products, expanding our range of materials and addressing the needs of the artisanal segment.
BIRTH OF MANCOL
In 2010, reaffirming our commitment to innovation and diversification, we launched the MANCOL brand, focused on developing specific products for the apparel industry. This new division allowed us to continue expanding our market presence while always maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
